Fix-It-Fridays: Breakfast On-The-Go

My tummy, much like my brain, takes awhile to wake up in the morning. It's next to impossible for me to eat anything before I leave the house in the morning, meaning I have to grab something at the office.

The additional difficulty for me is fitting a grab-and-go breakfast in with my diet plan. The best way for me to lose weight is limit my carbs substantially. This means no bagel, toast, english muffin, granola bar, breakfast sandwich, hashbrowns.

So, fix it! What's your on-the-go breakfast plan? Any suggestions for something easy I can prepare ahead of time or even just bring along to work?

  1. breakfast burrito in a low-carb wrap.

  2. I don't eat breakfast so I can't help with what I eat. However, I can tell you what I did for my son. He had to get on the school bus at 6:50 AM, he had an hour and a half bus ride to school. He was never hungry that early in the morning. We packed (for breakfast) whatever we had for dinner the night before. We would heat it in the microwave in the morning and sometime on the ride to school he would eat. He arrived at school ready to start his day. Now granted his breakfast food was not typical but it was nourishing. So maybe you could try taking leftovers from dinner.

Food for thought - I bet it's tasty! Thanks for commenting!
